 Band History Algorhythms was, in early part of this century, the in-house Rock Band at Infosys Bangalore. The band played Rock, Pop, Indipop and anything else that seemed fun to play. They were known for creating spicy medleys of all sorts of hits and in general rocking the place. Algorhythms dished out numbers from Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Bryan Adams, The Beatles, Shubha Mudgal, Sheryl Crow, CCR, Elvis and many more ... Starting off in late 1999, Algorhythms rocked the house with over 10 live performances during the 2+ years that the band was together. Being from an organization that sent their employees globe-trotting from time to time, it took less than 2 years for the band to see a huge turnover in their line-up and eventually, key members that held the band together had their turn at crossing the International Date Line - the band gracefully bowed out with one last performance in August 2001. Some members from the band later met to jam at the Infosys Campus in February 2002. Algorhythms never got down to recording an album, however, we managed to lay our hands on a limited edition Live recording compilation. Live Concerts
Algorhythms played it’s first concert as well as almost 70% of all it’s performances at ‘Pythagoras’, the amphitheater at the Infosys campus in Bangalore. Hence, the only live recording available is aptly named, “Live, From The Hypoteneus Of Pythagoras”
